In a society such as the one we are currently trying to thrive and survive in, we come across attacks and invasions every day. It may not specifically be YOU today or tomorrow but we all know someone who has fallen victim to some type of cyber crime. To throw some numbers out there, 30,000 websites are infected with some type of malware each and every day. Within the past 2 years 73% of all Americans have fallen victim to some type of cyber crime, and 47% have had their personal information exposed by hackers. In a recent survey, it was reported that 80 percent of all businesses suffered some sort of computer hack over the past 12 months. Over 27 million Americans have fallen victim to identity theft over the past five years. These are just a few examples but just imagine how quick it is to fall victim to an attack by simply clicking on a phishing email or your password being cracked on your social media platform due to its' weakness. Not to mention, we love to post and upload our personal data/information on the web, where malicious people take advantage of small bits and pieces of information resulting in your first invasion of privacy.
